Free Printable May Calendars To Help You Do All The Things
Ask any super organized person, and they will tell you the number #1 tool for staying organized is a calendar! I use a calendar every single day, yet somehow, I STILL manage to forget what day it is most of the time! A result of working from home, I’m sure.
You can use these free printable May 2020 calendars to:
- keep track of appointments, birthdays, anniversaries, deadlines, etc.
- start and track a new habit
- stay focused on your goals
- meal plan
- plan your child’s school work (shout out to all my fellow & newbie homeschool moms)
- log workouts
- countdown to a special day
- budget
- simply remember what day it is
Unfortunately, calendars are not one-layout-fits-all
So…I’ve created (8) (yes, 8), different calendars for the month of May. Feel free to pick and choose your favorite or sign up below to download the entire set in one fell swoop.
Vertical-Dated-Monday Start
Great battles have been fought about whether calendars should start with Sunday or Monday. Let me just set the record straight right here and now, the answer depends on you and your scheduling preferences!
Don’t let anyone boss you around and tell you your calendar HAS to start on Sunday, when you’re OCD like me and want Saturday and Sunday to live next to each other!

Vertical-Dated-Sunday Start
If you’re a traditionalist who prefers starting your week on Sunday, no worries, I’ve got you covered!
By the way, I purposely scooched this calendar over a bit so you can hole-punch it and add it to your home organizing binder. You’re welcome!

Vertical-Undated-Monday Start
Maybe you’re the type of person who enjoys flying by the seat of their pants with an undated calendar…you’ll get no judgment here.
Undated calendars are perfect for meal planning when you don’t want to be tied to specific days for each meal. You can simply fill in the boxes with meal ideas and cross them off in no particular order once the meal has been consumed.

Vertical-Undated-Sunday Start
Another way you can use an undated calendar is as a cleaning schedule. Designate a day of the week for floors, another for dusting, and another for cleaning the bathroom.
This way, you are not tied to a specific date when completing a cleaning task. Just mark it off the calendar when completed and move on to the next task. Voila, a guilt-free cleaning schedule!

Fun fact: North American calendars typically start on Sunday, while European calendars usually begin on Monday.

Lifehack has a whole article devoted to why you should start your calendar week on Sunday instead of Monday. I say…do what works for you.
